Requirements
- •Experience building infrastructure at a stage similar or later than Ashby with millions of data points
- •Experience automating provisioning, monitoring, and release processes
- •Comfortable evaluating risk and making decisions for reliability and security
- •Strong coding skills and willingness to write and review code
- •Ability to manage projects independently without constant prodding
- •Comfortable with SQL and data modeling
- •Experience with infrastructure-as-code
- •Ability to communicate best practices asynchronously and in writing
What You'll Do
- •Optimize the homegrown ultra-dynamic recruiting DSL-to-SQL compiler and create tools to help developers
- •Create automated guardrails for the security and privacy of customer data
- •Help developers ship features fast through canary deploys, gradual rollouts and feature flags while managing complexity and reducing downtime
- •Work with business and engineering teams to define SLOs and implement corresponding SLIs
- •Ensure all communication with external services supports retries and circuit-breakers
- •Implement infrastructure to support an event-driven architecture and data warehouse
- •Build systems that balance reliability with flexibility and are mature, boring, open-minded, and approachable
- •Build infrastructure updates, security enforcements, database optimization, Kubernetes debugging, and troubleshoot Typescript traces
- •Review and submit code changes as part of daily responsibilities
- •Own projects end-to-end and make technical decisions independently
