Requirements
- •5+ years of experience in data platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering
- •Initial experience leading, mentoring, or managing tech teams
- •Deep, practical experience using Terraform/Terragrunt to architect and manage infrastructure
- •Experience with Google Cloud Platform
- •Strong familiarity with GCP data services (BigQuery, Cloud Composer, GKE, IAM)
- •Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes)
- •Platform-as-a-Product mindset focusing on customer enablement, platform reliability, system governance, and security
- •Professional English language skills (B2 level or higher)
What You'll Do
- •Lead a small team of 2-3 platform engineers
- •Coach team members
- •Drive agile delivery
- •Manage OKRs
- •Design reliable Terraform/Terragrunt modules on GCP
- •Champion data security controls (Dataplex, DLP)
- •Establish standard, self-service developer tools for downstream data teams
Nice to Have
- •Open-source-first mindset when researching, evaluating, or building internal platform tools
- •Exposure to PySpark and open table formats (Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake)
- •Experience or strong interest in applying AI-assisted development tools and monitoring LLM-driven pipelines
