Requirements
- •Experience as an analytics engineer or senior analyst on technical projects involving data modeling on modern data platforms such as Databricks, Spark, or dbt
- •Excellent SQL skills for analytical work
- •Ability to use Python for tasks beyond SQL
- •Experience gathering requirements directly from operational stakeholders and translating ambiguous requests into clean, documented metrics
- •Precision and accuracy in data work, especially for regulatory and financial reporting
- •Ability to reconcile differing stakeholder definitions of the same metric
- •Strong understanding of operational processes behind metrics and drive for automation and process improvement
- •High level of autonomy and self-direction
- •Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows and tools
What You'll Do
- •Own the Operations data model including reconciliation, treasury, payments, lifecycle, and onboarding
- •Turn raw operational events into documented, trustworthy data products on the data warehouse
- •Partner with Operations stakeholders on day-to-day questions, ad hoc requests, and recurring reporting
- •Push routine, repeatable questions toward self-service
- •Understand end-to-end processes behind metrics and identify automation or tooling improvements
- •Define and maintain key metrics for reconciliation accuracy, treasury positions, payment success/failure rates, and onboarding conversion
- •Participate in data quality and governance practices
- •Bring process and product improvement ideas to stakeholders
- •Learn the Operations domain and ship initial data products
- •Own at least one Operations sub-domain's metrics end to end
- •Contribute to Risk/TRI conversations and suggest tooling or process improvements
- •Become a trusted data partner for Operations stakeholders
Nice to Have
- •Background in banking, fintech, treasury, or payments operations
- •Experience working across multiple stakeholder groups with overlapping but not identical needs
- •Familiarity with regulatory or financial reporting data requirements
- •Exposure to BI-layer reporting such as PSM or lifecycle when intersecting with data products
