Requirements
- •Experience building large-scale backend or data systems with focus on reliability, throughput, latency, and cost
- •Experience shipping systems from concept to production including scoping, architecture, implementation, release, operation, and iteration
- •Ability to design distributed systems considering partial failure, retries, idempotency, backpressure, scaling, and operational tradeoffs
- •Experience building resilient integrations with third-party APIs or external dependencies that are rate-limited, unstable, or liable to change
- •Experience with proxy management or request routing for high-volume traffic and anti-bot systems
- •Operational ownership including observability, alerting, runbooks, and post-deployment responsibilities
- •Ability to work autonomously on ambiguous problems by gathering requirements and making progress without perfect specifications
- •Clear communication skills across teams including explaining tradeoffs and giving direct feedback
What You'll Do
- •Build and evolve systems that collect and maintain creator profiles across social platforms at massive scale
- •Design resilient services to handle third-party API instability, rate limits, provider outages, platform changes, and partial failures
- •Improve coverage and freshness of data collection while keeping the system financially sustainable
- •Own production including shaping problems, designing architecture, writing and reviewing code, shipping, observing, and improving systems
- •Build monitoring and operational safeguards to catch gaps and regressions before customers do
