Requirements
- •Built large-scale data or backend products with attention to volume, latency, reliability, and cost
- •Shipped products from concept to production owning scoping, architecture, implementation, release, measurement, and iteration
- •Designed distributed systems considering throughput, failure modes, data flow, scalability, and operational tradeoffs
- •Built LLM-powered or agentic features in production balancing capability against latency and cost
- •Worked autonomously on ambiguous problems gathering requirements and driving forward motion
- •Communicated clearly across teams including technical tradeoffs and collaboration
- •Worked in a fast-moving product environment comfortable with quick learning, incremental shipping, and changing direction
What You'll Do
- •Improve creator search across 400M+ profiles and billions of media files including retrieval, filtering, ranking, relevance, and speed
- •Build systems that generate and use embeddings from images, video, text, and audio at massive scale
- •Ship new search capabilities into production by evaluating models and technologies and moving promising approaches from experiment to production
- •Own the search system end to end including shaping the problem, gathering requirements, designing architecture, coding, releasing, measuring outcomes, and improving the system
Nice to Have
- •Experience with multimodal embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, ranking algorithms, model deployment, self-hosted models, or GPU infrastructure
- •Curiosity about the creator economy
