Requirements
- •Experience building large-scale data or backend products with attention to volume, latency, reliability, and cost
- •Experience shipping products from concept to production including scoping, architecture, implementation, release, measurement, and iteration
- •Ability to design distributed systems considering throughput, failure modes, data flow, scalability, and operational tradeoffs
- •Experience building LLM-powered or agentic features in production with understanding of model tradeoffs
- •Ability to work autonomously on ambiguous problems and gather requirements
- •Clear communication skills across teams including explaining technical tradeoffs and collaborating effectively
- •Experience working in a fast-moving product environment with quick learning and incremental shipping
What You'll Do
- •Improve creator search across 400M+ profiles and billions of media files including retrieval, filtering, ranking, relevance, and speed
- •Build systems that generate and use embeddings from images, video, text, and audio at massive scale for customer-facing search experience
- •Evaluate models and technologies pragmatically and move promising approaches from experiment to production within weeks
- •Own the system end to end including shaping the problem, gathering requirements, designing architecture, coding, releasing, measuring outcomes, and improving the system
Nice to Have
- •Experience with multimodal embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, ranking algorithms, model deployment, self-hosted models, or GPU infrastructure
- •Curiosity about the creator economy
