Requirements
- •7+ years of backend experience
- •Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Rust, NestJS or similar frameworks
- •Deep expertise in authentication protocols (OAuth2/OIDC, WebAuthn/Passkeys, OTP)
- •Strong background in key management services (AWS KMS, Vault) and cryptography
- •Familiarity with Web3/Crypto including on-chain data, wallet integrations, or decentralized application patterns
- •Strong system design and architecture skills
- •Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives
What You'll Do
- •Own and evolve core authentication infrastructure securing Phantom accounts
- •Lead design, implementation, and operation of Auth stack, multi-factor authentication methods, and key-management services
- •Architect and ship production-grade improvements to Auth stack including secure enclaves and hardened token flows
- •Implement Passkey (WebAuthn) and MFA
- •Design and build systems using modern secrets management technologies
- •Define and maintain stable, versioned auth APIs for downstream teams
- •Partner with cross-functional stakeholders for seamless rollouts
