Requirements
- •2+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping ML-powered products
- •Strong experience in PyTorch or equivalent frameworks such as TensorFlow or JAX
- •Applied-science depth to fine-tune vision or diffusion models, design evaluations and debug training runs
- •Pragmatic approach to solving customer problems using external models or APIs when appropriate
- •Product-minded with focus on shipped features, user behavior and business outcomes
- •Comfortable working in production codebases and writing maintainable code
- •Strong ownership and ability to drive ambiguous ML problems to production
- •Ability to iterate quickly with short feedback loops
- •Curious and collaborative with good communication skills
- •Fluent in English
What You'll Do
- •Embed directly within a product team and work closely with SMB, Scaler or Enterprise teams on focused ML problems tied to customer and business outcomes
- •Own ML projects end to end including framing the problem, choosing the approach, executing the plan, shipping the feature and monitoring its performance in production
- •Make build vs. buy decisions for ML models and integrations
- •Move from idea to production quickly with projects scoped in weeks
- •Work closely with the ML team leveraging shared infrastructure and expertise
- •Stay close to users by getting rapid feedback and monitoring usage to drive iterations
- •Balance technical depth with pragmatism in model development and integration
- •Write production code within the product team's codebase
- •Own quality in production by building evaluations, monitoring performance and investigating failures
Nice to Have
- •Experience shipping generative image models or diffusion models into production
- •Experience evaluating third-party AI APIs against internal alternatives
- •Experience working in a fast-growing startup or directly within a product team
