Requirements
- •3-5+ years of experience in security engineering with a focus on AWS
- •Experience with IAM, VPC logs, and CloudTrail
- •Experience using CSPM/CNAPP tools like Wiz or Prisma
- •Experience building detection pipelines trusted by engineers
- •Experience leading incident response
- •Strong engineering skills including coding proficiency
- •Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude towards enabling engineers
What You'll Do
- •Build and shape the security team, culture, and tooling for a high-growth, open-source company
- •Own and triage Wiz alerts, turning noise into actionable findings
- •Lead incident detection and response, coordinate response and lead post-mortems
- •Build detection pipelines and improve network-based observability
- •Proactively hunt for threats in AWS environment
- •Support Vulnerability Disclosure Program and transition to bug bounty program
- •Support product squads with threat modeling and secure design reviews
- •Help build and maintain a positive security culture within the engineering teams
