Requirements
- •Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP
- •Experience with AI coding tools, ideally Claude Code
- •Hands-on experience building automations with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
- •Ability to run local scripts and schedule jobs (cron, task schedulers, or CI pipelines)
- •Strong accounting knowledge demonstrated by ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent or several years of hands-on accounting experience
- •Experience with core accounting processes: AP, AR, bank reconciliation, month-end close
- •Comfort working with APIs, MCP servers, CSV/Excel data, and basic SQL
- •Attention to accuracy, controls, and audit trails
What You'll Do
- •Automate accounts payable processes including invoice capture, vendor matching, duplicate invoice detection, payment run preparation, and vendor statement reconciliation
- •Automate accounts receivable processes including invoice generation, cash application, aging reports, dunning, credit note handling, and bad debt provision support
- •Perform bank and card reconciliations across accounts and currencies
- •Conduct balance sheet account reconciliations such as prepayments, accruals, deferred revenue, and fixed assets
- •Perform intercompany and subledger-to-GL reconciliations
- •Generate exception reports for human review
- •Manage month-end close activities including checklist tracking, recurring journals, depreciation runs, FX revaluation, trial balance checks, variance analysis, and management reporting
- •Oversee general accounting operations such as expense report checks, chart of accounts hygiene, audit support, and data pipelines between ERP, banks, payment platforms, and spreadsheets
Nice to Have
- •Experience in multi-entity or multi-currency environments including intercompany and consolidation
- •Experience reconciling payment processor statements across multiple jurisdictions and currencies
- •Experience with shared cost services invoicing group companies including complex expense splits and automated invoice generation
- •Experience with ERP systems and their APIs
- •Experience building AI agents and agentic workflows including tool use and MCP servers
- •Knowledge of VAT/GST and e-invoicing rules in several jurisdictions
- •Experience with Git, testing, and basic cloud deployment
- •Prior experience in finance transformation or accounting operations teams
- •Additional languages relevant to non-English markets
