Requirements
- •2-3 years of people leadership experience as tech lead, engineering manager, or player-coach
- •7+ years of software engineering experience
- •Experience shipping AI features to production and owning lifecycle
- •Strong fullstack fundamentals (frontend, backend, infrastructure)
- •Practical experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG or similar techniques
- •Experience with observability, logging, monitoring, tracing, and strong test coverage including AI evaluation
- •Experience with scalable architecture and data pipelines, SQL and schema design
- •Evaluation mindset with success metrics and experiment design
- •Production readiness including Docker, CI/CD, versioning prompts/models/datasets
- •Experience integrating multiple LLM providers, vector databases, LangChain or similar
- •Security and compliance experience or strong interest
- •Ability to timebox AI development work to keep exploration bounded and ship on schedule
What You'll Do
- •Lead a small engineering team shipping AI-driven capabilities
- •Set technical direction for AI-native development
- •Write and review code
- •Make architecture decisions
- •Define engineering standards for observability, testing, security, and architecture
- •Own team coordination, delivery timelines, workload allocation, and project follow-through
- •Ship AI-powered features from prototype through production
- •Partner with Product and company leadership on technical planning and priorities
